Broadband Consultation
If you are interested in developing a broadband network in a rural area, consultation and project planning are available in certain areas of the PNR. In Manitoba, contact Rob Lavin. Please check back for further information and contacts to broadband coordinators and projects in other regions.

Project Management
There are a variety of organizations across the PNR who offer project management services. This can include budgeting, proposal writing, installing and demonstrating management software, creation of a project-based web site, Microsoft Sharepoint site, or other remote communication tool, PATH creation, task management and staff supervision. The expertise across the PNR is varied and extremely developed. Successfully coordinated projects include: CAP-YI and CAP, Help Desk, Broadband Initiative, OLT Projects, Prairie Northern Region events and website development, Tech Conference 2004, Web 4 All, Community Resource Network formation and development, and Community Connections. Anyone interested in accessing these services, or finding out more information about what is offered in your region, should contact Stacey Rogers by email at Stacey Rogers.

Event Planning/Coordination
If your organization is planning to host an event within the PNR region, there are a number of resources you can take advantage of. Depending on the size and needs of your event, our coordinators can help you with almost every aspect of the coordination; booking space or equipment, promotion, assessing the impact during and after the event and preparing tailored reports. Since every event is different and has different needs, event planning always starts with a consultation. Because of the diversity of the groups involved with the PNR, some regions will have access to different services (such as wireless labs or video conferencing). If you would like information about event coordination services in your region, please contact Stacey Rogers.
